Contemporary Research introduces the iC-Web Display Manager, a complete, self-contained solution for web-based display system management. The integration process is simple. CR's iC-Net technology can network a facility's projectors, flat-panel displays and TVs through existing CATV wiring. Second, displays and presets are defined using iC-Web's onboard Web setup pages. The iC-Web software then generates easy-to-use Web pages for direct or group control, presets, and scheduling events. Everything happens inside the iC-Web Display Manger - all that's needed is a Web browser.
The iC-Web server communicates with the iCE-HE Head End, which communicates through existing CATV cable to network TVs, Smart TVs, flat-panel displays, and video projectors - saving the cost of running dedicated control or Ethernet wiring. An open-architecture platform, iC-Web systems can control a variety of display types, makes, and models, and easily integrates with AMX and Crestron control systems. Applications include display system networking at sports venues, entertainment facilities, houses of worship and commercial communication systems.
